The different types of of farms presented in this film use different farming philosophies with varying impact on nature depending on the species being farmed. Not all farming is good or even tastes good. The film goes thus goes to multiple parts of the world to show results achieved by very different farming approaches.
Finally guidance on which fish to eat!
It is about time that someone made a movie about the fish we eat. With all of the confusing information in the media about which fish are "bad" and which fish are "good", Ted Caplow helps clarify the issue. Are farmed fish bad or good? This documentary gives an unbiased view and even some SOLUTIONS at the end of the movie, which a lot of documentaries don't do. Bravo!
Dissapointing
After working in the fish industry for 15 years, I knew a bit more than the average viewer; however, this doc was nonetheless dissapointing. I feel that it could have been longer, provided much more information, and offered more solutions and examples of ways to solve the seafood crisis. I'm sure a lot of hard work was put into producing this film but I'm afraid it falls short.
