Very Watchable
IMDb says: A domestic drama of underage pregnancy soon turns into an extraordinary record of international significance. ......... A Second Son presents the ultimate, highly controversial 'what-if' scenario with a gripping climax." and summarizes it pretty well.
I enjoyed the 'what if' theme of the story and was engaged throughout. I agree with the previous reviewer that some of the lesser parts' acting leaves a lot to be desired and that the main character, Emily played by Hollie Sullivan, was excellent and did a great job.
An innovative and provocative take on the Second Coming.
Interesting twist
I had no idea what this film was about so wasn't sure what to expect. It starts off a bit screechy but the main actress is amazing and worth watching for this alone. I love the twist at the end and couldn't see it coming at all. Not a five star film under any stretch of the imagination and some of the lesser parts' acting leaves a lot to be desired, but the story is very good and the character Emily is very watchable. One to watch if you fancy something a little bit different from the glossy Hollywood films.
